Painting ceramics in a team - is a special community activity for your team

Raw ceramics can be individually painted in a team. No previous knowledge is required for painting. The team receives a brief introduction to the various painting techniques.

Suitable for 10 to 20 people.

Time required: 2-3 hours

Process in four steps

1. Joint decision

This ceramic painting workshop focuses on teamwork. This starts with the decision as to which ceramic shapes should be painted with which colors and techniques. No previous knowledge is required - you will receive an introduction to the various painting techniques, and during the whole time one or, if necessary, two supervisors will be at your side with help and advice.

2. Coordinate and set up

After your team has agreed on one or more ceramic shapes and selected four colors and three painting techniques, a workstation is set up for each team member. This step is also coordinated and implemented in the team. Each painting station is equipped with the following utensils:

• 3 brushes in different sizes
• 1 water bowl
• 1 pulp
• Color palette with the four colors
• Ceramics

3. Step by step to team work

Now it can start. First of all, each participant takes a painting space of their choice. Label the ceramics that you will find there with your first name and start painting the ceramics in the defined time frame. When the time is up, everyone cleans their painting area and moves clockwise one place further. The process is repeated until you arrive back at your painting area - and there you find a ceramic piece that your team has painted together.

4. Clean up and completion

Finally, tidy up the painting areas together. The ceramics you have painted are then glazed and fired in the ceramic painting studio. As a rule, the finished ceramics can be picked up again within a week at the latest, or they can be securely packaged
