Homemade ceramics can be brought to the ceramico for firing.

We have two kilns:

• 90 liters, diameter 48cm, height 40cm
• 200 liters, diameter 54 cm, height 100 cm

We usually do not fire until the kiln is full because a fire uses a lot of electricity. Therefore - as always with ceramics - some patience is required.

Bisque firing

Clay works that have been modeled at home (please bring the clay label with you) are welcome to fire (clay must be dry). Each piece is weighed separately and the price is calculated. If you have enough material to fire, you can also use an entire furnace. In addition to the kilo price, there is also kiln rate. See prices below.

Glaze firing

Ceramics painted at home can be glazed and fired in ceramico. Your pottery is then going in the next glaze fire. You get infirmation about the earliest pick-up date. See prices below.

If you want to use an entire kiln, you pay an extra rate in additin to the kilo price (in case you can fill the whole kiln with your material):  

• for the   90 liter kiln it is  CHF 45
• for the 200 liter kiln it is  CHF 75
